Rayotec have reviewed our solar panel system and disconnected a broken panel. They have been very easy to deal with and provided clear costings and information in advance of their visit. The engineer was very competent, efficient and on time. Everyone I have spoken to at Rayotec has been friendly and helpful, they even found a replacement panel for me on Ebay!

Rayotec installed our solar thermal array ten years ago and it has performed faultlessly since then. Recently we had them back to decommission the system to allow us to change our DHW cylinder. They have just returned to get it back up and running again. All our dealings with Rayotec have been exemplary. Communication with them was always excellent. It was always easy to get someone on the end of the phone when needed and we were kept informed in detail by email about all aspects of our work. When a technician visited our house they were always extremely professional. They were polite, tidy and, above all, very competent. I would highly recommend them.

Easy appointment system with a friendly engineer arriving on time and suitably briefed about our issue. The engineer, David I believe, and his assistant/apprentice were happy to access our rather cluttered loft area to tackle the problem of patchy generation. Once established that our inverter - as suspected - was at fault, they consulted their office to check that the spare carried in their van was compatible and connected this new inverter to our system which now works perfectly. Very satisfied.

This was my 1st time of speaking to the company Rayotec and I was dealing with a representative called Perry. Perry was friendly, charming, extremely professional and so helpful, quite frankly I was taken back with his knowledge and intention to clarify detailed solutions to all my quite specific questions. The man who came, Paul, was very helpful and fixed the leak, which was what was most bothering me. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so he was not able to ascertain whether or not the system was working. We think it is not. We contacted Rayotec when our solar water panels stopped providing us with hot water. My point of contact at the office was with Mr Viner, a very helpful and polite gentleman who asked me numerous questions regarding my solar to try and diagnose if a fault was present. My solar was in dire need of new glycol as the last service was completed over 6 years ago, we were never told about the up-keep of the system. Contacted Rayotec to assist with my Solar PV issue. Original thought was the inverter and having discussed everything with the company the engineer (Dave) visited me and discovered that the problem stemmed from one of the panels. The engineer carried out the tests needed and isolated the offending panel, leaving me with a working system. If I am able to find a replacement panel then Rayotec will fit it for me. Bearing in mind the particular panel is no longer manufactured the engineer gave me all his expert advise for the options to move forward. There was no issue with him returning the new inverter back to base and refunding me the cost difference from the deposit already paid up front. Everything was done in an efficient and friendly way and good communication with Perry and his team throughout either by email or telephone. When the inverter does inevitably fail, as they do not last for ever, I shall be happy to use the services of Rayotec Ltd. in summary: A very helpful and friendly team to deal with.

It’s refreshing talking to people who really care about what they do. I have been receiving cold calls from “companies” claiming my installers had gone out of business and I was over due an upgrade, I called the people who installed for us and they had in fact gone out of business however I didn’t understand why I needed to upgrade. I looked online and found Rayotec, my call was answered almost immediately, Perry in Solar quickly explained that there are hundreds of people getting these kind of cold calls and they’re almost always fraudulent. After going through my system with Perry he concluded that my system was perfectly fine the way it is, he answered every question I had in a very professional but friendly manner and provided me with a fair quote for servicing as my installers were no longer around. We will definitely be using Rayotec moving forward.

They then contacted me by phone to discuss it further and suggested a solution. A visit was arranged but the suggested solution fixed the problem so the visit was cancelled with no problem. I have to say I never tend to leave reviews but simply had to make an exception with Rayotec. From start to finish I received professional advice from the Solar team. I was put through to Mr Perry Viner and I can safely say this man knows his stuff. He made sure he had as much information on my system as possible, asked me many questions to try to narrow down the problem. He then booked me in for a maintenance visit with one of the engineers, I work a really tight schedule but he made sure I was booked in for a date that worked for ME. Not something you get with many companies. The following day Mr Viner called me back after having got in contact with one of his engineers and asked me to run through a couple of things. He then asked me to try restarting my system which I did and the inverter started up as if nothing happened and has since worked perfectly. Don't hesitate to contact Rayotec if you're experiencing problems with your Solar panels. I've spoken with a few different Solar companies and these guys truly care about their customers. 10/10 Service from a lovely family ran business.

I have recently had my solar heating system serviced by Rayotec Ltd., on phoning an appointment was soon made and as I work during the week was scheduled for a Saturday. An engineer phoned on the Saturday morning to announce he had finished his previous appointment and would be with me within 10 minutes. The engineer was polite and extremely knowledgeable , the service was completed without fuss antifreeze replaced and system reset. Due to an unrelated issue , a power surge in my electrical system, I had to call Rayotec again, who made an immediate appointment for the Saturday, and attended to replace the solar control panel, the new unit was explained in full by the engineer before leaving, and the system is now running very well. My point of contact at Rayotec was Perry Viner who was courteous at all times and did everything that could be expected to accommodate my requests for a Saturday appointment. I can whole heartily recommend Rayotec Ltd.,when it comes to Servicing or installing Solar powered systems.

Rayotec installed our Solar PV system so when the inverter failed, typically only months after the manufacturer's warranty expired, I contacted them about a replacement. I spoke with Reza who gave me two options with prices and when I had made my decision Reza kept me informed of progress of the order and the install date. The wait time for installation was only one week and good communication was maintained throughout this period. Dave came to install the new inverter and he was excellent. He was punctual, very efficient with a high level of expertise, very helpful and always polite - a credit to Rayotec. When Dave identified a further problem with my panel array, caused by nesting Jackdaws between the panels and the roof, he was again very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending a pest control company who could resolve the problem. I am very happy with the service I received from the Rayotec Team and cannot recommend them highly enough.
